External Sales Engineer: Systems

? Responsible for the development and growth of the Integrated projects sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Establish and grow the the companies p in the multifaceted, high value project business.
? Achieve a project sales budget according to annually set budgets.
? Build and maintain a personal customer base of selected key customers
? Ensure a high level of both sales and technical competence as well as professional conduct within this team.
? The area related to these functions is: South Africa, Sub Saharan Africa as well as the countries which are key in projects within Africa such as but not limited to Australia and Canada.
? Negotiate and arrange package and product offers, pricing, delivery and technical correctness.
? Negotiate and arrange package and product offers, pricing, delivery and technical correctness with external and internal suppliers.
? Administrative tasks related to sales, such as customer list updates, call plans, sales projections etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

? Matric and a recognised tertiary electrical qualification such as a National Diploma, B Tech or B.Sc.
? Experience in the electrical engineering industry.
? Experience in the sales of multi-facted projects.
? Computer literacy – good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

WORKING CONDITIONS

? Position will require out of town travel.
? Regular after hours customer entertainment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

? Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communications and making presentations.
? Appreciation of the principals of effective budget management, and ability to apply those principals.
? Valid driver's license.
? Must be able to operate office equipment including information management tools (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and SysPro).
