External Sales Manager – Durban

Salary – R20 000 CTC

Suitable candidate should have experience selling steel/metal products

Duties:

• Ability to address commercial and technical queries
• Develop and exploit new business opportunities with specific focus on coil related products
• Preparation of quotations and customer pricing structures
• Manage specific area/s by meeting Sales and GP targets
• Willingness to work outside normal working hours when necessary

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum grade 12, a post graduate degree would be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years external sales experience in the local steel industry
• Previous experience selling and pricing coil related products would be an advantage
• Solid knowledge of mill based product costing would be an advantage, in particular, the ability to calculate coil nests
• Knowledge of local marketing factors and customer requirements
• Computer skills essential
• Valid driver’s licence
