The ideal candidate to possess the following characteristics and attributes:
• Matric of equivalent qualification with technical subjects preferred
• Civils technical qualification would be an advantage
• Technical experience essential
• Must have experience in Civils engineering/sales environment
• Excellent, proven sales track record and skills are required
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be ambitious, team player who is both deadline and target driven
• Must be in possession of a valid, unendorsed Code 08 Driver's License - this is NOT negotiable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to handle work related pressure - meeting of targets and deadlines consistently
• Advanced computer literacy MS Office, Word and Excel - Baan experience
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a fixed employment requirement within the Group
• In line with Group Recruitment Policy, preference will be given to AA candidates

Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
• Servicing the Civils industry in the Gauteng Province and surrounding areas
• Achievement of agreed sales volumes and GP targets
• Achievement of budget ideas
• Prospecting and securing new business
• Ensuring good customer relations are achieved and maintained
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints effectively as and when required
• Maintaining call cycle and ensuring after sales services
• Promoting range of products within the range
• Negotiation and liaison with key players within the industry
• Customer and after sales service
• Keeping the Sales Director informed and up to date with competitor activities
