Seeking Sales Rep currently servicing the Mining industry

The ideal candidate needs to possess the following characteristics and attributes:
• Matric or equivalent technical training
• Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing, Customer Care or Bcom Degree, technical Diploma/Degree an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years‘ experience with a proven track record
• Must possess a typical sales personality
• Must be in possession of a valid, unendorsed Code 08 Driver’s License – this is NOT negotiable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to handle work related pressure – meeting of targets and deadlines consistently
• Advanced computer literacy MS Office, Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Maestro, Sage X3
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a fixed employment requirement within the Group
• In line with Group Recruitment Policy, preference will be given to AA candidates

Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
• Achieve annual/monthly sales and GP targets as pre-determined by budget and forecast to ensure sustainable market growth
• Introduce Company products to the market to inform potential customers of products that would meet their requirements
• Manager customer relations effectively to ensure sustainable future business
• Administer sales procedures according to company policy to monitor and record all sales transactions
• Liaise with Internal Sales, Sales Manager, MD and Product Manager where applicable to provide constructive feedback relating to product quality, service levels and market information
• Driving sales through effective merchandising and display of products utilising all marketing tools available in conjunction with the Marketing Department
• Prospecting and securing new business
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints effectively, as and when required in a professional manner
• Maintaining call cycle ensuring that after sales service levels are achieved and maintained
• Negotiation and liaison with key players within the industry to ensure that business targets are achieved
