Technical Sales Representative - Machines and Tools (Engineering Fabrication Equipment)

We are currently looking for an External Sales Representative to run our North Coast area. (Frequent travelling )
The Sales Representative will be selling Engineering and Fabrication Machinery they are looking for someone who has previous experience and has some knowledge on Metal work Machinery.

• Product sales position for Fabrication Equipment
• Responsible for the sale of Products & Services to end users, contractors, and consultants.
• Needs to be able to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction through executing the sales process.
• Needs to be proactive by finding opportunities and actively chasing them, while continuously meeting the customer’s expectations.
• Create competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals.
• Negotiates the value of proposals and impact to the customer’s business in order to close the sale.
• Negotiate terms & conditions to ensures that financial standards are fully adhered to.
• Keeps manager informed of changes in the marketplace and progress on customer status.
• Develops a network of contacts to promote products and services with a specific view of closing deals.
• In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

Requirements:
Technical Sales background of min of 3 years
Technical or Engineering Qualification (Diploma / Degree)
Sound technical knowledge and product knowledge of fabrication equipment
Must have good communications skills (Written and verbal)
Must be able to generate sales and new business development.

The Salary Package will be as follow:

• Basic Salary - R 8 000.00 and upwards Negotiable
• Commission - % on Commission on Sale of Machine
• Company Vehicle VW Polo to use
• Fuel - At designated Petrol Station
• Cell phone - 200 Minutes + 200MB Data

Candidates with less than 2 years sales representative experience will not be to be considered, you must have External Sales Experience for a minimum of 2 Years.
