Proprietary products (Lifting, Locks, Gobakanya, Electrical Test Equipment, etc), maintaining and improving the companies profile, reputation and image among its

Customer base.

Main Purpose of the Job

1. Visitation schedule to be done and handed in. The schedule can only change with the approval of Branch Manager.

2. Call report to be handed to branch manager daily.

3. Monthly planning to be done and handed to the branch manager on the 1st of every month.

4. A minimum of ten end-user quotations should be handed in on a daily basis. 4 of these quotes must be on a proprietary brand product.

5. Attend weekly sales meetings. Report on: Sales and GP per customer vs. Budget

Quote conversion improvement

Discuss complete KPA report once a month

6. Have an in dept understanding of customers in order to give adequate feedback in sales meetings.

7. When driving on customer property all rules should be obeyed.

8. Always wear all required PPE on mine premises

9. To have an in-depth understanding of all products on offer in order to support customers i.t.o their operational needs.

10. To offer a supportive role to all customers concerning their maintenance and repair operations.

11. Representation to customers should take place on a daily basis.

12. Buying offices should be visited weekly and back order lists from customers should be given to internal sales weekly. Give detailed feedback on back orders to customers weekly.

13. Accurate and sufficient information should be obtained from customers to ensure accurate quotations.

14. Credits should be resolved on a daily basis.

15. Ensure clear communication between customer and company (Always keep customers informed concerning their inquiries)

16. Be a good support for internal sales to ensure excellent service to customers.

19. Carry out and perform reasonable ad-hock tasks assigned by management.

Key performance area’s

Achieve monthly sales and GP budget.

Submit 10 end-user quotation per day of which 4 must be for proprietary products.

Achieve a strike rate of at least 40% on your end-user quotations.

Credits should be less than 2% of total sales.

Selling of propietry products.
