External Sales Representative
(extensive travelling required)

R20,000 - R23,000 CTC plus company car, petrol card and commission
Our client a distributor and manufacturer in the catering/food industry seeks a Sales Representative to join their team who will do extensive travelling all over South Africa to sell and promote the company's phenomenal products.

Minimum requirements

Matric
5 years STABLE external (on the road) sales experience preferably within food/beverage/fmcg/manufacturing
Strong communication skills. Ideally the candidate must be able to communicate at all levels up to management/executive level
Strong sales skills (a closer) with a hands on approach
Must be able to develop a passion for the company’s products
Must be able to maintain and grow the current customer base.
Minimum requirement is to meet sales targets.
Must be able to understand the customer needs and requirements and make recommendations to management where appropriate.
Must be able to develop a sales strategy individually and within the sales team environment.
Must have excellent time management skills
Able to learn and understand all the products offered by the company
Must be able to travel on a regular basis. The position requires 3 out of 8 weeks travel outside the borders of Gauteng.
Must maintain company’s CRM system and complete call schedules as required.
Must have a valid South African drivers licence
Salary:

CTC R 20 000 - R23,000 CTC monthly salary dependent on experience
Company car (Polo Vivo) and petrol card
Additional commission on sales negotiable
No medical aid, No provident or pension fund
15 days annual leave for the first 3 years of employment thereafter 18 days annual leave.
