Food & Beverage / Deputy General Manager

Unique Exclusive 4* Boutique Hotel - Banqueting & Wedding Resort - KZN.
Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate ensure overall efficient and effective management of the resort to provide a great quality Food service and customer satisfaction

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

F&B experience in 4-5* lodges or a hotels,

Excellent Banqueting and Conference skills required.

Excellent Leadership skills – lead by example

Must be firm and fair in disciplining

Excellent “Attention to detail” skills

Must be very focused on his/her career,

Must be really passionate about delivering world class service

Must have excellent all round knowledge with minimum 7 years’ experience

Must have a very strong administration background

To ensure that profit margins are maintained – agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems , sales analysis, menu costing’s

Responsible for purchasing, stock control and Cost of Sale within prescribed budgets

Must have strong “planning” skills

Must be able to lead from the front

Computer literate

Ability to perform under pressure

Training and mentoring of all HOD’s

Salary R 20 K with lucrative Incentive Scheme
