AA20430 - An upmarket Game Lodge situated near Hoedspruit in Mpumalanga seeks a F&B Duty Manager with the following qualifications: Grade 12. Relevant Hospitality or Food Service Management qualification is an advantage but not essential if experienced.Duties will include the following: Ensure all F&B areas & events are set-up and ready for service. Ensure the grooming standards of all service staff are to company standards.Ensure the standards of cleanliness are maintained in all F&B areas. Ensure the standards of food presentation are maintained. Ensure all guests are greeted, seated & well received.Ensure all orders are taken promptly & correctly.Following up on the service with each & every table ensuring a global knowledge of the service in the restaurant & ensuring a 5 Star level of service is delivered at all times. Personally respond to all guest complaints. Daily checks for maintenance issues, reporting & follow-up.Training of all service staff & bar staff.Direct supervision & management of all service staff & bar staff. Attention to detail.Event Co-ordination. Review all functions & reservations to ensure all guests are allocated for. Oversee all Beverage stock counts.Issuing of beverage stock & maintaining all store rooms. Ensuring the beverage Stock control SOP is carried out on a daily basis and zero variances occur in the bars. Ensuring Operating Equipment is accounted for on a daily basis and looked after.The candidate must have the following skills: Work Shifts. Drivers License. Good written & communication skills. Computer literate – Ms Word, Ms Excel, Hospitality system, POS system. 4yrs Experience in a similar position – Lodge / Hotel. Strong leadership & organizational skills. Extensive knowledge of wines & beverages. Solid knowledge of food. Hotel school graduate an advantage.Benefits will include Accommodation – incl. Water & Electricity. All meals while on duty.
