We are privileged to have been chosen to recruit for one of South Africa’s Top Golf & Housing Estate, a qualified candidate with sound experience in Hotels or Top Function Venues.A CV showing a stable work history, supported by written references and a recent photograph can be forwarded to us, subject to the below criteria’s mentioned:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: DescriptionThis very senior position entails the management and guidance of a team consisting of:Events Manager, Executive Chef, Assistant F&B Managers (x2), F&B Supervisors (x2), Receptionist (x2) and out-sourced contractors for cleaning Spa & Gym.§ Development, implementation and maintenance of operational standards across Club house, Food & Beverage, Corporate Events.§ Development, implement and maintain sustainability objectives in conjunction with relevant stakeholders in delivery of financial and management outcomes for the above.§ Develops and delivers a strategic business plan including objectives, financials and deliverables.§ Develops and maintains required communications interface and touch points to key stakeholders.§ Develops a customer service delivery approach in association with relevant and aligned business units.§ Managing the day to day activities involved with the operational activities across the relevant business units i.e.§ Food & Beverage main key performance area – training of staff, menu compiling, wine knowledge, customer focus, cost control§ Kitchen, Laundry, Banqueting§ Reception§ Events Management§ Facilities Management – Cleaning, Spa, Clubhouse§ Responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance in relation to Operational requirements. Licensing, fees & permits and regulatory inspections.§ Maintenance and management of the reporting systems for the operations in conjunction with Finance.§ Expansion of growth of the service and business returns of the operations in line with the business plan objectives.§ Manage and evaluate staff performance, labour relations and appointment of staff.§ Problem solving and ability to deal with conflict resolution QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: § Minimum 5 years in senior or executive position within the Hotel or leisure industry§ Executive level – hotel or member club industry, minimum 4 stars§ Extensive food and beverage management§ Good communicator and hands on approach in managing outcomes§ Extensive experience in stock controls, cost of sales including supplier negotiations Please note: We can only consider candidates, who are already residing in the Cape Winelands or Cape Town and are South African Citizens or hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Foreigners and Work Permit applications will be entertained!
