Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced FA Practitioner Procurement person at their facility in Mooinooi near Rustenburg in the North West Province.

Purpose of the Job:
To ensure optimal sourcing and timeous availability of quality goods and services to meet business requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12/N3
Degree or Technikon Diploma in a procurement related field

Job Responsibilities:
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY:
Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

CUSTOMERS:
Ensure Customer Satisfaction
Interact with customers and familiarise yourself with operational concerns and any inherent peculiarities
Liaise with HR suppliers

BUSINESS PROCESSES:
Material or Service Masters:
Request material or service masters
Check Master Data

Vendor Masters:
Identify and remove duplicate/inactive vendors
Process requests for new vendors and extensions
Conduct vendor assessments

Request for Quotes:
Determine type of quote required
Prepare RFQ documents
Select vendors
Transmit purchasing documents
Maintain and analyse quotes
File documentation
Drive and Monitor savings

Purchase Orders:
Create, transmit and expedite Purchase Orders

Tenders:
Research Market and Commodity
Prepare, coordinate and adjudicate tenders
Negotiate final terms and conditions

Blocked Invoices:
Process Blocked Invoices

Foreign Currency:
Procure Foreign Currency

Contract Management:
Identify and implement contract opportunities
