Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified FA Specialist - Enterprise Development person to join their facility in Steelpoort.

Description
The incumbent will be responsible to drive the Samancor Chrome's BBBEE & Transformation processes in compliance with the organisations Transformation Strategy.

CUSTOMERS
To coordinate and implement the following Enterprise and Supplier Development critical success factors
Draft a supplier and enterprise development strategy that is aligned to the current policies and procedures with clearly defined goals and outcomes.
Engage with local community via the ECM Stakeholder Engagement Forum.
Evaluate profiles of SMMEs sourced via the stakeholder forum in order to select the right entities for development.
Create business cases for SMMEs to develop and present to management for approval.
Establish governance and communication structures around the development/incubation of SMMEs
Assist with the design and implementation of specific enterprise and supplier development programmes and initiatives throughout the organization.
Measurement and evaluation of SMMEs, pre- and post-graduation.
Ensure collaboration across all ranges of partners (SCR, local community, established contractors, end-users, Stakeholder forum etc).
Assist to source, evaluate and manage CSI projects.

BUSINESS PROCESSES

Procurement Strategy with emphasis on Transformation:
Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Assist in developing and implementing the continuous improvement strategy
Conduct strategic vendor assessments and rationalisation
Review existing arrangements to drive down TCO for both Samancor Chrome and our Suppliers
Identify, develop and implement opportunities to leverage the group position in the market place
Meet with entrepreneurs/suppliers to explain business processes
Work in conjunction with the Transformation Superintendent to achieve the company’s transformation goals

Service Level Agreements
Savings obtained
BBBEE status report
DMR reporting
Enterprise Development
Any other ad-hoc reports

GROWTH
Improve the business units BBBEE status
Coordinate Samancor Chrome BBBEE scorecard process and activities
Co-ordinate, monitor and report on the implementation of improvement plans for each element of the scorecard
Build win-win relationships with SMME/BEE partners and institutions
Initiate BBBEE deals
Increase BBBEE spend
Ensure integration with local business development centres
Identify collaboration opportunities with external organizations and institutions
Conduct internal BBBEE self-assessments and identify and facilitate improvements
Provide an internal BBBEE consultancy and change management service to the organization
Advise Suppliers on BBBEE & Transformation improvements

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12
Degree or National Diploma
Experience:
4 Years relevant experience, preferably 2 years Supervisory experience

Sound knowledge of the following:

Understand the principles of Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO)
Understand general principles of Project Management
Understand the principles of Contract Management
Understand the main sources and suppliers of raw materials
