Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified FA Specialist Security at their facility in Mooinooi near Rustenburg in the North West Province.

Purpose of the Job:
Implement and monitor adherence to various Safety and Security initiatives to ensure the attainment of Business Unit objectives for Zero Harm and loss of Mine Equipment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant Degree or Diploma
SIRA – Registered A Grade
Commissioner of Oaths
First Aid & Fire Fighting
Security Officers Course – NKP/BBP
Courses on Identification of Explosives
At least 5 years Security Mining experience Surface & Underground
Snake handling and removal Courses

Job Responsibilities:
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY:
Manage SHEQ and Security compliance within the Process through effective use of the Toolbox
Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

CUSTOMERS:
Ensure Customer Satisfaction

BUSINESS PROCESSES:
Facilitate the identification and assessment of Safety / Security Risks to ensure the implementation of appropriate protocols and to compile a
risk plan.
Continuously evaluate critical and non critical areas at Business Unit to ensure adherence to various Safety and Security protocols.
Monitor Safety and Security behaviours in the various business areas to ensure legal adherence and compliance to organisational requirements.
Recommend and operationalise of Security functions at Business Unit according to organisational requirements.
Assist and facilitate Internal/External investigations into incidents and follow-up to conclusion to ensure adherence to all relevant legal and
organisational requirements.
Procurement System Audits
Monitor and liaise with SAPS on reported cases to ensure that same are resolved or followed to conclusion.
Manage security service providers to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Develop learning interventions to support implementation of Safety and Security Management System and present relevant training where
required.
Conduct scheduled internal Safety and Security Audits at the surface and underground operations, monitor and report closure on Audit findings.
Report on the Performance of Site Security Management Systems and Make recommendations on findings.
Compile various reports on Security and Safety related statistics and Information
