Our client is urgently seeking a FABRICATION SUPERINTENDENT (HEAVY ENGINEERING INDUSTRY) – position based in Northern KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Trade tested Boilermaker.
Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Previous experience in a similar position ESSENTIAL!
Senior management experience.
5yrs+ previous experience in a fabrication manufacturing environment.
Must be familiar with the following:
- reading and understanding Engineering drawings on a high level
- fabrication process of medium to heavy components
- welding processes

Staff management experience.
Strong team leader.
Effective interpersonal and strategic influencing skills.
Strong and well tested coaching and counselling skills.
Considerable analytical skills gained through broad experience and application.
Drive progress of projects and ensure on time delivery.
Ensuring that performance targets are set and communicated to all subordinates.
Ensure that quality products are constantly achieved and maintained.
Strong emphasis on health, safety and environment.
