Facilitator (Hygiene & Cleaning)

MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The Facilitator is responsible for the planning, implementation and training of the learners according to the training program and keep to roll out plan deadline. Assisting learners with POE building that meet the quality standards of assessment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Matric/grade 12 certificate
2. Facilitator certificate
3. Assessor certificate
4. Cleaning & Hygiene certificate or equivalent qualification – Level 5
5. Minimum 2-3 years in either Learnership Facilitation, Teaching, Training & Education
6. Facilitate learning for partially disabled learners
7. Ability to work in fast paced environment
8. Report writing
DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Plan and prepare for facilitation
2. Facilitate learning, manage and control class
3. Facilitate facilitated workplace
4. Pre-assess PoE
5. Reporting
6. Assessing & compiling Assessor Reports
Duties & responsibilities:
1.1 Facilitate learning on all Signa Academy qualifications
1.2 Assisting Academic Manager to exit competent learners utilising different facilitation methodologies
1.3 Ensure all training logistics are catered for.
2.1 Ensuring all learners have the relevant resources for facilitated workplace
2.2 Ensure facilitated workplace is completed prior being sent for assessment
3.1 Ensure all course preparation is in line with what is required in each PoE to ensure successful
Learner competence
3.2 Controlling learner training materials through to completion for assessments.
4.1 Reporting done timeously per deadlines communicated
4.2 Reporting is completed on time and on the relevant report templates
4.3 Ensure adequate protection of all confidential information
5.1 Oversee and coach class, track and monitor learner’s attendance, order training material
5.2 Liaise with the Academic Manager
5.3 Assist and support learners and where necessary refer them to Wellness.
5.4 Take reasonable steps to ensure adequate protection of all confidential information
5.5. Work with agreed contractual arrangement and in accordance with company policies and
procedures
5.6 Review and assess learner progress in line with appropriate quality assurance procedures
Reports to compile:
6.1 Monthly reports per group facilitated
6.2 Assessment reports
6.3 Close out reports per group facilitated
