Power Tools: Facilities Manager required for our client based in Jhb.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Grade 12 + Post matric qualification certificate/diploma-Warehousing
2. 5 to 10 Years Facilities management experience.
3. 5 years Occupational Health and Safety Experience
4. Good knowledge of Excel
5. Moderate knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
6. Very strong people management skills.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the Company.
• Ensuring the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
• To ensure all repair and maintenance requirements for the JNB premises is planned and actioned timeously
• Compile and implement an asset tracking system
• Monitor weekly/monthly telephone costs and compile action plan to reduce
• To ensure all mechanical equipment is working order and maintained regularly
• Fleet and Security Management
• Compile lock and unlocking procedure
• Management of the surveillance system
• Management of the outsourced security company (SLA)
• Responsible for the management of all Occupational Health and Safety issues in the JHB warehouse
• Monitor, evaluate and review current policy and practices and develop, implement new policy and procedures as required
• To identify training needs in relation to H&S
