Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for a Facility Maintenance Supervisor with the Ability to work independently, Able to work under pressure, Proactive and hands-on.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance

Competent in speaking and writing in English

Good leadership skills and an ability to mentor and lead by example

Good communication skills and an ability to communicate with all levels of management

Valid Driver’s licence

No physical disabilities

Responsibilities:

Assist with all Physical Security (Fencing, doors/locks, lighting, guard patrols)

Responsible for supervision of all gardening maintenance & improvement.

Responsible for supervising all maintenance, repairs and improvement of facilities (Plumbing, painting, carpeting, air-conditioning, minor civil works) and Cleaning staff

Responsible for supervising Health and Safety request implementation.

Responsible for the day to day operations of the facility department

Office moves, renovations and relocations are well planned and executed

Supervises emergency repair jobs

Ensure all Cleaning and Waste disposal and re-cycling regulations are adhere to

Weekly standby and emergency duties with Facilities Manager

Report any escalations to the Facility Manager

General Handyman tasks

Any other task that could arise from time-to-time that falls within his capabilities.

Salary: R16 000
