Our client, a large, well-established manufacturing company in the automotive industry, is looking to employ a Factory Maintenance Manager to join their team. The position is based in the Greater Durban area, KwaZulu-Natal. This position is open to all suitably qualified applicants.

Minimum requirements:
Matric
Recognised tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years’ work experience post qualification
Solid knowledge of practical engineering principles, capability studies, electrical and control systems
PLC and project management work experience advantageous
Fully versed in quality systems like ISO 9001 & TS 16949 and tools such as FMEA
Familiar with the legal requirements for machinery, electrical and OHS Act
Previous automotive industry experience an advantage
Computer literacy including CAD literacy

Responsibilities include:
Maintenance management
Maintenance planning
Maintenance process
Continuous improvement
Reporting
Management of Human Resources in the department

Salary is R30 000 per month, negotiable on experience. Company benefits include medical aid and provident fund.
