• GRADE 12
• DEGREE ( MECHANICAL / CHEMICAL/ ELECTRICAL)
• 5 YEARS EXP IN WOOD TECHNOLOGY ( PLYWOOD / TIMBER) INDUSTRY
• YEARS SNR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

;Manage the Factory entirely in all aspects outside of sales and warehousing/logistics (from raw material production, to delivery into dispatch warehouse ). Accountable for safety, health, and all other legal responsibility for the Factory. Optimize output, quality, safety, cost effectiveness and development of staff.
• PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Ensure health and safety requirements are complied to at all times
Ensure production meets production planning schedules as supplied by centralised production planning department while ensuring maximum optimisation of the plant and minimal down time.
Initiate corrective measures in cases of variance.

• BUDGETS
Based on sales budget, plan budgeted targets together with the CITO
Manage adherence to targeted goals and initiate corrective measures in cases of variances.
Ensure achievement of budgeted targets in the plant i.e. production volumes, quality, costs, capital expenditure, profit, cash flows etc, by managing plant production team and negotiating production allocations and changes with the Supply Chain Manager.

• MANAGEMENT OF STAFF
Lead, motivate and develop the plant production team and staff.
Ensure optimal organisation structure and procedures within the plant. Provide direction, resolve issues/exceptions and monitor progress.
Chairs regular feedback meetings with production teams ensuring upward and downward communication on general issues related to the plant and staff.

• SAFETY, HEALTH & QUALITY

Ensure accreditation and sound management of OHSAS 18000, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 management systems.
