ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Engineering Degree/BTech or Diploma (Civil Engineering)
• Or a Production Management Diploma and B Tech.

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 5 years production management experience.
• Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge in: concrete, electrical, mechanical and finance, production, quality, safety
• People and industrial relations management
• Exposure to and familiarity with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes
• Computer literate: MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
• Knowledge of Business System- Pastel

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Overall functional management of the factory consisting of a few plants, ensuring that productivity targets are met.
• Key performance indicators include the management of equipment efficiencies, rejects, and waste, maintenance and overhead costs.
• People management and staff motivation
• Ensure compliance with Industrial Relations as per South African labour law
• Comply with Quality Management System
• Champion a safe working environment for employees and sub-contractors in conformance with the Health, Safety and Environmental laws
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, technology partners, unions and clients
• Liaising with the sales and marketing department with respect to demand planning and quality issues
