If you have proven experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment as a Factory/Production Manager of the entire production site – you are invited to send us your profile
Main function will be to coordinate (direct, plan) all activities related to the production function and also the safety and maintenance of the entire site.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN:

• Shift efficiency targets are achieved on a consistent basis (OEE, % to Plan)
• All production conforms to product specifications
• Knowledge of BRC requirements and QC
• Control all expenditure in accordance with the approved annual budget
• Ensure that all interdepartmental documentation is completed accurately and timeously
• Ensure the factory is kept clean and complies to all Health and Safety Regulations and Procedures
• Ensure that all employees are utilised in an effective manner, i.e. absenteeism
• Monitor the conduct of employees and to take appropriate action when required
• Distribution and warehousing
• Manage equipment reliability
• Raw material QC and stock control
• General site, security and housekeeping
• Experience in a unionised environment


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering / Production Management / BTech
• At least 5 - 7 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry - FMCG
• People Management skills essential
• Computer Literacy including advanced Excel
