Our client, a fruit grower and exporter located in the picturesque Wolseley area, has the above opportunity for an enthusiastic person with good leadership and communication skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. A relevant qualification and 5 years’ experience in a managerial role are prerequisites. Sound knowledge of blueberry production and farm management practices would count in the applicants favour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management function and responsibilities include: • establishing new tunnels • irrigation and fertilisation • disease and pest control • pruning programmes • weed control • personnel management • general administration • budget management • maintenance management • all other tasks related to the position.
