Essential Functions:
• To manage all security and monitoring Operations on client site.
• Manage security personnel and manage duty shifts.
• Conduct foot & vehicle patrols in Dangerous Game Area.
• Perform armed responses to any security incidents on client site.
• Coordinate all resources to effectively deal with incidents.
• Assist South African Police Services with roadblocks/ambushes where necessary.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Develop Anti-poaching (General and Rhino-Specific) strategies and implement tactics.
• Control and order supply stock and maintain inventory registry of all Company property and assets.
• Conduct fence patrols and maintenance where necessary.
• Set up and maintain monthly expense budget.
• Manage all wildlife monitoring operations.
• Assist with general farm management as required by the client.

Minimum Requirements:
• National Diploma in Nature Conservation
• Psira grade A registered
• Security industry knowledge/background (advantageous)
• First Aid Level 3 – Advance
• Weapon certificate – Rifle, shotgun and handgun
• SAPS Competency Certificate for Firearms
• Member of FPA Representative on SAPS PROVJOINTS
• Member of PROVJOINTS Rhino Security Council
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Willing to work under pressure, result-oriented and meet tight deadlines
