Staff Supervision
• Ensure that customers and sales are allocated to Sales Assistants as per Head Office Sales Protocol standards
• Ensure that Sales Assistants are positioned around the store so as to ensure optimal customer assistance and sales
• Monitor and ensure that Sales Assistants provide help to their colleagues as and when required
• Ensure that sales are fairly allocated and proportioned according to s Sales Protocol
• Ensure that each staff member phones her customers on a regular basis and check the weekly phone lists
• Set a standard and monitor the buildup of a New Customers Database
• Monitor individual and Store Sales and identify ways to motivate staff to reach Store Targets
• Ensure that all are following the monthly schedule and record any late coming
• Ensure that lunch and tea breaks are allocated at the beginning of each shift and monitor staff adherence to these
• Compile a daily cleaning roster and monitor cleanliness and tidiness of the store at all times
• Ensure that staff are groomed and dressed according to the Company Standard
• Enforce adherence to all Head Office and Centre Management Instructions and Requirements
4.2 Customer Service
• Ensure that each customer is acknowledged and greeted as they enter and exit the store
• Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with along the s requirements
• Ensure that all customer requests are actioned and followed up
4.3 Stock and Merchandising
• Return and follow up damaged goods as returned by customers from time to time
• Order stock for customers as per customer’s request and follow up
• Ensure that instructions from Head Office regarding returned Merchandise has been actioned and followed up if necessary
• Merchandise and replenish stock as instructed by Area Manager, Merchandising Manager and/or Store Manager
• Assist with deliveries, unpacking and checking of new stock and stock handling as instructed by the Head Office or any other person authorized to do so by management
• Perform and check transfers of stock leaving and coming into the store
• Weekly Breakdown as per Head Office Requirements
• Ensure that packs for courier services are prepared and checked and ready for collection as per Head Office Requirements (only applicable in Stores where courier services are used)
• Perform and assist in the performing of stock counts
• Stock loss control
4.4 Finance
• Ensure that POS, Credit Card and Gift Card Machine are in working order and report all defects to Head Office immediately
• Ensure that Banking is done on a daily basis, investigate shortages and overs and report these to Head Office immediately
• Ensure that all payments are made in line with Requirements
• Ensure that Sales Summary are completed correctly on a daily basis
• Ensure that petty cash is used only for approved purchases and that all purchases are recorded and vouchers are kept and submitted to Head Office timeously
• Ensure that store targets, promotions etcetera are correctly communicated to staff
