OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY OF
THE POSITION
Within the overall strategic objective of the sales department the purpose of the position is to innovate through research and sales development. To set up and develop the Architectural Facade business in line with the Marley diversification strategy.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

• Responsible for the development of the Architectural Facade business segment in South Africa
• Developing, training and supervising Marley accredited Facade applicators
• Specifying our Facade to architects and providing them architectural advices
• Estimating and quoting from drawings
• Selling the facade to project owners
• Providing technical support and after sales service to architects, applicators and project owners
• Monitoring opposition tactics and strategies
• Monitoring market trends and establishing innovative action plans
• Working out marketing and promotion plans
• Working out marketing and sales budgets based on business plans
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation including BBBEE compliance

• Minimum 5 years sales experience
• Knowledge of cost calculation
• Deep knowledge of structural facade calculations
• Deep knowledge of the South African building codes and practices
