I am now in search for a Field Guide and Reservations/Office Assistant couple for an upmarket guesthouse situated on a nature reserve in the Western Cape, to join our dynamic team.Reservations/Office Assistant Candidates for this position should be passionate about working with people, enjoy working in a farm environment and be comfortable fulfilling a hosting role. You should have an excellent sense of customer care, be competent to deal with all manner of guests and work well in a team.Requirements include:Office Management Diploma or similar qualificationCompetent with Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of Semper Reservation System preferable2 years reservations/front office experience preferableOutstanding telephone mannerValid driver’s licence & own transportFluent in EnglishDuties include: Processing daily reservations from enquiries to confirmationUpdate & capture of information for databasesResponsible for guest reception & orientationProcess guest accounts, handle receipt of paymentsEnsuring guests receive an exceptional experience that goes beyond their expectationsAssisting with daily administrative duties including orders, deliveries, menu printingLiaise with other departments to ensure good flow of informationCharacter:Hark-workingEnthusiasticSelf-motivatedWilling to go the extra mile for guestsGreat attention to detailSalary: negotiable depending on experience & qualificationsField Guide Candidates for this position should be passionate about the outdoors, enjoy working with people and sharing their knowledge, and be comfortable fulfilling a hosting role.
