Leading Group based in Jetpark are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to maintain and grow the mid-tier market and develop a customer account portfolio in order to meet performance targets/budgets and overall business goals in accordance with the appropriate quality standards.
Your skills and experience are required to establish, maintain and manage all aspects of the relationship with the customer to include technical, marketing and internal sales support.

Key areas of focus will include:
Establish both short term and long term customer needs in order to identify the total business potential available
Develop and review account objectives and strategies, addressing customer needs and business objectives.
Proactively promote and sell the full portfolio of products in support of marketing requirements and strategies.
Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities, utilising technical support as appropriate.
Liaise and work with internal departments as appropriate, effectively coordinating resources.
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets on an annual basis.
Research and investigate potential business opportunities and competitor information.
Prepare and deliver presentations to existing and new major customers, at senior management and director level.
Prepare and deliver presentations at sales meetings on progress with new and existing major accounts.
Attend and participate in regular sales and product training sessions / meetings.
Ensure that negotiations with customers fall within defined costing / financial parameters.

Requirements:
Excellent technical knowledge of passive, electromechanical, semiconductor and wireless electronic components essential.
Excellent sales and communication skills.
Disciplined self-starter
Problem Solving Skills
Sound Negotiation Skills At least 3 years’ field sales / engineering design or purchasing experience in the electronics / electronic component distribution industry with a proven successful track record
Computer literate in MS Office packages
Knowledge of Syspro an advantage
