Field Service Engineer, Clinical Lab Equipment

Roles and Responsibilities
• A leading supplier of clinical lab equipment requires a field service technician to service and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Customer technical support and equipment service
• Ensure quick turnaround time
• Customer training
• Provide sales leads to sales force
• Plan regular customer visits
• Be prepared to work overtime and sometimes on weekends

Skill Set
• Engineering Degree/Diploma;
• 2 years related experience as a Clinical laboratory Equipment Technician to acquire competency in applying chemistry, histology, and haematology principles
• Computer skills specifically MS Office essential;
• Troubleshooting logic and ability;
• Valid Code 8 South Africa Driver’s Licence
• Own reliable transport which can be used on the job on a daily basis
• The technician will need to travel regularly to go and see various clients, including travel to other South African provinces, and possible international locations
• Over-night stays may be required
