Our client is looking to employ a Field Service Engineer who has working knowledge of mechatronics schematics and systems and project management

Minimum requirements:

• BSc Engineering / B Engineering or Higher - Mechatronic Engineering
• Working knowledge of Mechatronics schematics and systems and Project Management.
• Working knowledge of managing projects
• 5 years at a MSc /MEng Mechatronics level
• 10 years at BSc / BEng Mechatronics Level

Duties:

• Liaise with customer (internal or external) on design requirements
• Keep up to date Document control for design documentation
• Define design inputs in accordance to latest regulations and standards.
• Produce detailed costing reports
• Produce quotations
• Arrange and minute design meetings
• Produce conceptual 2D and 3D drawings
• Produce detailed 2D Engineering drawings
• Produce detailed Material Requirement Lists
• Produce detailed Quality Control Plans for QA level 1 and 1a WO’s
• Produce design calculation reports (hand, Mathcad, FEA, etc.)
• Review and approve design packages (Drawings, design calculations, MRL’s)
• Select materials to suit design requirements
• Produce risk assessments for designs
• Produce Function Acceptance Testing procedures
• Produce Operating Manuals
• Liaise with customer (internal or external) on survey requirements
• Research and compile required documentation for the survey
• Perform onsite and offsite surveys
• Compile Detailed Survey report

• Maintain Engineering Specifications, KP and Work Instructions
• Issue Engineering Packages to Planning Department
• Produce Concession and Deviation Reports
• Research & Development  
• Develop Material Specifications
• Develop Coating Specifications and Work Instructions Develop Welding and Heat Treatment Procedures Disposition Nonconforming Products
• Determine Root Cause Analysis and formulate Preventative and Corrective actions
• Technical Support                                              
• Quoting estimations
• Failure analysis
• Technical support for legacy and equipment
• Reverse Engineering Calculation
• Concessions/Deviations
• Drawing Design/Analysis
• Material Analysis
• Packaging information for Logistics
