Field Service Technician (Trucks)
Introduction

Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Manage all on site repairs, installations, maintenance and test for the range of products. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining the proper solutions.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Matric

Formal Diesel qualification from recognized institute

Electrical qualification from recognized institute

7 - 10 years active experience as a mechanical and electrical technician at dealership level in the commercial vehicle segment

Experience and knowledge of Canbus and advanced electronic systems

Working with and handling diagnostic tooling of various types

Strong ability with electrical systems for diagnosing and repairing

Knowledge of Air brakes, suspensions, diesel engines, transmissions and other related mechanical systems for commercial vehicle are vital

Willing to work evenings and weekends and traveling for attending all breakdowns that are assigned.

Must be in possession of a valid passport and willing to travel out of country when required
