Key Performance Areas

Field Engineer:

• Stock equipment preparation – networking – imaging - testing
• Inventory management
• Provide on-site support
• To effectively repair / replace hardware and software incidents within contracted SLA and initiate 3rd party repair process
• To effectively perform diagnostics whether on-site or off-site within the scope of the SLA
• To update, resolve or close incidents and requests on a daily basis
• To perform project related activities and tasks
• To carry out preventative maintenance
• To effectively communicate and provide feedback
• To maintain and improve customer satisfaction through first time incident resolution and quality service delivery

Minimal Requirements:
• Achieved NQF Level 5 in the field of Administration or ICT
• A+ and N+ is an equivalent to NQF Level
• Unemployed
• Never participated in an internship previously
• Computer literate – able to use MS Excel, Word, E-Mail/Internet
