Trackosaurus is a social enterprise that creates digital tools that help track the developmental progress of young children. The company makes it easier for preschool programmes of all types to collect quality data on children so that preschool teachers can intervene more quickly and effectively. We accomplish this by developing world class games and assessment tasks for young children that run on tablet computers.

The Field Tester will be part of the Trackosaurus Team and will be responsible for the execution of predefined test procedures in a fair and unbiased manner. at various education centres and schools in Cape Town.
They will be required to observe children play and interact with a variety of assessments and games on tablets, and provide comprehensive and detailed feedback on their observations and findings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Testing the various apps and games within a school environment, with children between the ages of 4 and 6.
+ Filming the individuals interacting with the various assessments and games
+ Compiling field notes and reports on what was discovered in the field
+ Communication with relevent people within the company
+ Part-time with possibility of becoming full-time

REQUIREMENTS

+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, documents, and written or oral information
+ Candidate must be technically savvy, detail oriented with good troubleshooting skills
+ Familiar with tablets, filming, light video editing
+ Excellent verbal and written skills in both Xhosa and English
+ Comfortable working in a small team
+ Candidate must have a valid driver’s license
+ Candidate must have their own car
+ Able to work out of Woodstock office once every two weeks
+ A police clearence certificate and /or CarerCheck
