Skills & Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

A proven track record of the following:

Strong financial acumen

Strong business acumen

FMCG experience – highly advantageous

Experience in facilitating Board and Exco presentations

Contractual agreements and compliance

Advanced Excel for big data analysis

Presentation skills

Ability to translate numbers into graphs

Knowledge of developing cost models

Strong planning and organizational skills

Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment

Change management

A project manager and creative thinker

Self-starter and co-ordinator

Enthusiastic, driven, a need to achieve

Pro-active and confident

Strong interpersonal skills and high EQ

Ability to influence strategic decision makers including shareholders’ decision-making through relevant financial analysis

A driven, sharp CA(SA) / ACMA / CIMA Strategic Level with Financial Planning and Analysis, P&L, Operational and Cost Management experience, to name but a few



Job Description:

This position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Review of monthly financial results

Preparing monthly variance analysis of the financial results

Challenging costs through understanding of cost drivers

Assisting with the preparation of forecasts and budgets and assisting the year-end process

Preparation of finance reports

Presenting to board highlighting opportunities and risk

Improving efficiencies with financial reporting on business performance

Providing analysis and insight to drive decision-making and business strategies

Maintaining and creating new management information to aid Operations

Ensuring that key operational, commercial and financial targets are met through effective commercial procedures

Track performance against KPI’s

Attending Senior Management meetings to discuss business performance and building relationships and partnerships with Senior Management

Taking a key personal interest in this business and its optimal performance

Driving excellence and setting and expecting high standards at all time
