Purpose of Job
1. Business development – growing and delivering on a client target portfolio
2. Solution / proposition development – developing a response to client / market / industry issues
3. Engagement delivery - managing project deliverables and teams

Solution development
• Collaboration in developing answers to complex client issues and developing tailored solutions

• Providing advise to client and team as subject matter expert
• Research and alignment of firm service offerings and expertise
• Developing industry / solution knowledge

Engagement delivery
• Managing projects of high complexity (locally, on the African continent & participation in global engagements)
• Managing alliance partners and joint business relationships (contactors and sub-contractors to projects)
• Managing engagement economics of projects
• Defining the objective and project deliverables
• Preparing and monitoring project plan
• Allocating tasks to individuals
• On-site quality control and team management
• Reporting progress against the project plan
• Conducting post implementation quality review
• Leading client meetings at a higher level
• Report writing

Experience
• Minimum of 10 years experience within Advisory / Consulting with business industry experience preferable
• Knowledge of leading practices in group and business services / support services with specific expertise in Finance Transformation, Finance Processes, Operating Model Design and Implementation, Shared Services and Enterprise Performance Management
• Microsoft applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word and MS Project)
• ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)

Qualifications
? B.Comm / B.Compt / B.Acc Hons (essential)
