Purpose of the Job:
• To ensure the efficient operation of the finances of the company business. The Head of finance will be accountable to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
• To ensure that financials resources are effectively managed and comply with financial standards required by the Group of companies.

Main Functions:
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING:
• Preparation of financial reports of the company for audit purpose and managing the audit process.
• Preparation and reporting to the management various financial management reports for the purpose of managing the companies. Management reports shall include among others, monthly financial statement reports with variance analysis, quarterly forecast reports, weekly cash flow report and other reports necessary for managing the Company activities.
• To deliver financial services by contributing to the development of financial policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• To ensure that there is adequate separation of duties in the organization.

BUDGET MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT:
• Prepare and closely monitor company budget.
• Design efficient costing system to be applied in manufacturing and other company activity areas
• To ensure budgets are in line with the work plan and strategy and to ensure the project delivers good value for money for the company.
• Advising the management on how best to control costs by reviewing operation costs from time to time.
• To analyze monthly progress of actual and forecast to year-end against year to-date and annual budget.
• To oversee and ensure the procurement process and policy is adequately followed and regularly checked and updated to guarantee value for money and to circumvent any associated risks.
• To monitor the external (political, legal and economic) and internal (corporate standard and procedures) environments and analyse changes and development in them.
• Develop and review financial operation manuals to be applied in all areas within the company. The manuals should address among other things payment procedures, stores procedures, procurement procedures, recording of transactions and other accounting policies accordingly.
• To ensure timely and accurate payments of all statutory requirements including various taxes and other payroll deductions.
• Establish sound internal control for the purpose of safeguarding all company assets such controls will include payment procedures, various reconciliations, assets management etc.
• Liaise with TRA and other statutory authorities for various tax issues
• Manage all staff affairs including payrolls and recruitments etc.
• Management of all finance related issues within the company.
• Any other duty and responsibilities that may be assigned by Managing Director and Board of Directors.

Requirements:
• CPA or equivalent from recognized institution
• At least 5 years in Finance and administration in manufacturing industry.
