Our Client in the manufacturing industry is looking for the skills of a Finance Executive who will be responsible for the following:
* providing high standards of financial controls
* management of working capital
* managing the treasury function, with specific emphases on cash flow and foreign exchange exposure
* managing the Operational Risk Management function
* liaison with Head Office
* managing the Information Technology Department
* managing the payroll administration department

MORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

• All Finance Executive responsibilities including Budget Preparation and Profit Forecasts, Treasury Management, Group reporting and consolidation
• Maintain strong relationships with IDC, banks, SARS, landlord, key shareholder, key clients, insurers, key creditors
• Manage team of 7 (IT, Finance)
• Develop strong and interactive relationships with Operations management and ensure synergy in information flows
• Operational Risk Management which would include identifying and leading key Finance Ops projects
• Strong accounting and operational control implementation
• HR Responsibilities
• Attend to dormant businesses

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 7 post-qualifying experience with ideally five years in an equivalent / similar position within the financial function of a listed or private organisation or a subsidiary of a multinational with multiple operations together with evidence of financial innovation and proven successful responsibility for a financial function
• Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment would be highly beneficial
• A strong grasp of Accounting Standards such as GAAP and IFRS and other relevant legislative frameworks
• The ability to develop and translate business strategy into actionable financial plans
• Demonstrable expertise in internal auditing, treasury activities, financial planning, providing high standards of financial control and effective management of working capital.
• Robust understanding of modern Finance and ERP systems including information and process flows
• Good operational and finance controls awareness
