Financial Manager – AA  – Midrand/Centurion – R800k

This large manufacturing giant is currently expanding into Africa. The current Financial Manager was just promoted and they are looking for a successor to take over.

The ideal candidate is:

Previously disadvantaged candidates

BCom + Cima or BCom with 5 years experience in the following industries; Manufacturing, Retail, Production or Distribution

3 years managing at least a team of 10 staff as a Finance Manager

Core Functions:

Maintain and build key relationships with internal sales and supply chain division

Manage a large, diverse debtors and creditors team

Implement new treasury policies and systems

Implement new Fixed Asset Register policies and procedures (including investment guidelines)

Optimize business processes in debt collection to achieve collection targets and drive down bad debt

Implement new credit approval policy and systems to manage credit risk

Automate monthly reporting for Exco pack around debtors, creditors and cash management

Monitor capex spend against budget and original investment approvals

Perform post-integration capex/investment reviews

Perform benchmarking exercises around industry and best practice for shared service function and all associated components

The ability to travel internationally will be a requirement
