Description:
This includes prime accountability for directing the company’s financial management policies and procedures to ensure that the company’s financial operations, transactions, assets and investments are effectively managed in line with the short and long term business and profitability objectives of the organisation, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and all statutory requirements.

Duties
Reporting to the CEO, the financial manager is responsible for, and provides overall direction for the accounting, audit, tax, billing, collections, financial reporting and analysis, valuation and asset management functions of the business to ensure maximum profitability and return.
The management team and board will depend on the Financial Manager to provide clear direction and reporting on all aspects of profit and loss, both current and in the future. The ideal candidate will ramp to CFO quickly. The role involves working closely with the CEO and the management team to prepare timely, accurate and useful financial and management reports for the business funders and investors.
