The successful Employment Equity incumbent will be responsible for all financial management and reporting aspects of company’s operations. Provide strategic leadership and management of the finance and IT team and co-ordinate the administrative, accounting, IT and budgeting process of the company.

Qualification:
CA (SA) or BCOM Honours with a minimum of 5 years post articles experience and at least

Skills & Experience:
2 years management experience
Exposure to management information systems
Sound commercial skills, financial and business acumen
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong Line management skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, work effectively under pressure and be deadline-driven
Ability to management successful performance of the company

Job Description:
Support the implementation of the business strategy through effective financial management, analysis and reporting.
Implement and drive the company IT strategy
Implement and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems.
Proactive management reporting in all financial areas of the business.
Provide trend analysis and business metrics to advise on business decisions and profitability.
Proactively monitor financial performance regarding profitability of the company.
Analyse cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide the business.
Track individual departments against budget – both on income and expenses
Oversees and approves the processing on revenue and expenditure.
Co-ordinates the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
Interacts with managers to provide consultative support with planning and budgeting.
Manage credit control process ensuring effective collection of all outstanding premiums.
Support corporate finance – responsibilities to include due diligence, financial modelling and forecasting.
Support the CEO with investor relations by way of reporting and presentations.
Oversee and manage the Risk Management plan of the business.
Ensure compliance in terms of all the financial requirements (SARS, and Companies Act etc.)
Manage full compliance function in terms of FAIS.
Oversee and manage the procurement function of the company in terms of the business strategy.
Maintain and develop company culture, promoting the company’s values with all staff and key stake holders.
Remain flexible to wider business needs by assisting on ad-hoc projects as required.
Using both technical and interpersonal skill to effectively manage the finance and IT team by performance management, goal setting and training initiatives
Establish and maintain relationships with bankers and financiers.
