Qualification:
Qualification in bookkeeping will be advantageous

Skills & Experience:
3 years Hotel Financial Management experience
Previous experience with VIP, OPERA, EIS & ACCPAC
Proficient in the use of office packages
Self-motivated, work accurate and meet deadlines
Display Management skills in the interpretation of the hotel policy, business objectives, the application of resources, control of costs and overall application of company standard accounting policies.

Job Description:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Reporting to the General Manager and Directors on hotel performance
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Control of Hotel Financial Statements & Management of Accounts
Procedures and Controls applicable to Accounts Payable
Procedures and Controls applicable to Accounts Receivable
Month End Procedures, responsible for month end files
Payroll Control and Administration
Completion and submission of statutory returns by the due date (VAT & PAYE returns)
Control of fixed assets and all inventories
Operating Equipment and Hotel Inventory
Bank and cash – Cash book – payment transactions, Monthly bank reconciliation
Petty cash, floats, cash up procedures & controls, deposits control, electronic funds, transfers & Foreign exchange
Responsible for Daily & Monthly Reporting to GM, OWNERS and the group hotels
