We require an assiduous Finance Manager for a boutique financial services company. Working 2IC to the Chief Financial Officer. Become part of an experienced team and stable company. Managing and overseeing budget processes, supporting the implementation of the business strategy through effective financial management, reporting and analysis.



Qualification:

CA (SA) non-negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Ideally, Financial Services experience

1 – 2 years’ post articles experience preferable



Job Description:

Monitoring and reporting on financial performance regarding profitability.

Analyzing cost controls, cash flows and expenses.

Advising on and implementing cost saving strategies.

Proactive management and reporting on all financial areas of the business.

Providing trend analysis and business metrics to advise on profitability and business decisions.

Overseeing and improving the processing of revenue and expenditure.

Tracing individual departments against budget – both on income and expenses.

Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Implement and coordinate process and finance information system change and enhancements.

Manage credit control process to ensure effective collection of all outstanding premiums.

Support the CFO with investor relations by way of reporting and presentations.

Oversee and manage the Risk Management plan of the business.

Ensure compliance in terms of all the financial requirements – SARS and Companies Act etc.

Managing the performance of the Finance team.

Responsible to oversee and take part in audit processes.
