Finance Manager - Cape Town
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance functions (non-negotiable)
Experience on QuickBooks or Sage
Excellent communication skills
Multi-currency and multi bank account experience
Prepare financial statements and monthly, quarterly, as well as yearly financial performance reports.
Responsible for all accounting and finance activities and transactional accounting for the company, including invoicing, expenses and payroll, cash-flow, accounts payable, revenue, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and allocations.
Predict and advise on the company’s profitability.
Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies to ensure compliance in all areas.
Responsible for various topics related to Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Tax Compliance according to the local accounting legal rules.
Ensure proper and timely submission of tax and social security obligations of the company.
Responsible for cash flow management and liaison with bankers.
Review Balance Sheet.
Oversee maintenance of personnel files.
