Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting / Similar or Degree in B. Accounting


• Knowledge of Accpac, IFRS and VATC


• Completed Articles


• 2 Years post articles experience in finance

This position requires candidates:

• Responsible for accounts payable : matching and co-ordinating supporting documents


• Capturing and processing invoices


• Following up on all creditors queries


• Preparing and processing monthly accruals


• Preparing VAT reconciliation


• Completing and submitting VAT return for payment


• Asset management


• Maintaining and updating fixed asset register


• Receipt and match outstanding purchase orders


• Monthly produce and analyse outstanding purchase order ageing


• Other ad hoc finance and procurement duties as may be determined from time to time


• Assisting the Procurement officer with day to day procurement activities


• Preparation of audit files for year-end audit purposes
