This is your opportunity to join a major multinational FMCG giant. If you have experience managing a shared services centre then this Finance Shared Services Manager role could be for you. You will take responsibility for the overall management of the group’s financial shared services centre.



Qualification:

CA(SA)

CIMA



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience (financial management or shared services)

Working knowledge of IFRS

South African company tax



Job Description:

Achievement of divisional KPI’s through enhancing business process

Determine and execute strategic focus areas for the division.

Analyze, develop and maintain efficient and effective staffing structures.

Manage the achievement of SLA’s entrenched within the FSSC SLA.

Improvement in the creditor’s day ratio through ensuring adherence to payment terms.

Design, implement and maintain forecasting models of cash disbursements on a divisional basis.

Co-ordinate BBBEE certificate collection.

Continuously evaluate business processes to extract efficiencies.

Team Management

Drive a high performance culture and motivate staff.

Develop and implement training interventions for development areas.

Monitor monthly completion of deliverables through workload trackers.

Compliance

Design and implement effective internal controls over the payments cycle.

Ensure master data is accurately created and maintained through the execution of appropriate controls.

Liaise with Auditors (internal and external).

Reporting

Develop, implement and maintain reporting of the division’s KPIs.

Ensure completion of the shared services management reporting pack.

Regular feedback to the shared services financial executive and group FD.

Presentation of SLA non-compliance dashboard’s to divisional FDs.

Ad hoc reports as required from time to time.

Effective stakeholder engagement

Lead the interaction (communication, reporting and resolving of service issues) between FSSC and stakeholders. Conduct divisional roadshows to drive effective procurement disciplines.

Engagement with the group’s treasury and bankers ensuring the effectiveness of transactional banking facilities.

Presentation and reporting to the working capital and transformation forums.
