Our client is an SME Development company and they are seeking a Finance Specialist to support clients applying for finance with the Company’s partners, financial institutions and also to support internal programmes with designing finance structures within the programmes

Our successful Finance Specialists Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the Team administrator, Credit Controller and Finance Raisers
• Preparing and implementing finance application processes and systems
• Sourcing of potential applicants
• Assisting potential applicants with the application process
• Ensure that the loan applications are submitted on time and at the right level of quality
• Following the approved loan application process
• Following the application process checklist
• Review and advising applicant of the cash flow projections
• Reviewing applications and supporting documents
• Developing a motivation to support the application on behalf of the applicant
• Submit application pack with all supporting documents to the company and present the business application at the credit committee meeting
• Follow up on all applications submitted with the bank representative
• Attend and participate in weekly telecon discussions with the project team
• Attend all meetings as required by the company and the client
• Liaise with the Business Development Specialist and Procurement Specialists
• Review SME assessment reports and make recommendations for finance requirements

If You Have These Requirements Join Our Team ….
• Relevant qualification in Financial studies, Chartered accountant or equivalent
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in raising finance
• Experience in Small, Medium and Micro enterprise environment
• Experience in a banking environment
• Experience in business analysis and financial modelling
• Good understanding of all business operations/acumen
• A passion for small business development
• Contract Finance knowledge
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office
• MS SharePoint
