Financial Accountant

Ideafruit, a dynamic fruit packing and marketing company in Somerset West, currently requires the services of a Financial Accountant to join the financial team.

The incumbent will report to the Group Financial Manager and take responsibility for the following key performance areas:
? manage small finance team
? weekly and monthly financial reporting
? review reconciliations
? cashflow forecasts
? daily forex trading & LC and TT bank communications
? maintain and review costings
? SARB applications
? credit control
? bank payment authorisations
? assist with budget compilation
? assist with annual audit
? VAT submission.

Requirements for the ideal candidate:
? BCom / BAcc degree or equivalent qualification
? practical work experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar position
? strong analytical skills
? excellent interpersonal skills
? good communication skills in Afrikaans and English
? excellent computer skills
? knowledge of Prophet QX will strengthen the application.
