Contract- 5-6 months
R 15000 - R 20000 per month. Dependent on skills.

Purpose: Responsible for the preparation of accurate and complete accounting records as well as ensuring liquidity across all entity bank accounts.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure maintenance of accurate and complete accounting records, inclusive of but not limited to:
FA Register

General Ledger

Monthly Accrual Schedule

Petty Cash Schedules

Inter-Company Recharges

Tracking of project costs

Month-End Cash Flow Schedules (i.e. All Accounts & Refunds, UK Cash Allocation Report)

Processing of:
Monthly loan book transactions, inclusive of provisions and IFRS Adjustments.

Payroll JNLS

Accruals, depreciation & ICO Recharges

Weekly & Month-end Payments

Preparation of:
EMP201s

VAT201s

Provisional Tax

NCR Reports

Balance Sheet Recons & Month-End File

Manage delivery of services from :
External Tax Service Providers

Banks

Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and procedures that comply with Group policy, regulatory and legal obligations
Timeous reporting of treasury position and determining daily treasury actions required to ensure liquidity across bank accounts
Monitor trends in operational expenditure and promptly raise concerns with the Financial Controller
Attend to operational matters that arise on a day to day basis
Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business
Support the Financial Controller in achieving the department objectives
Responsible for maintaining the procurement to payment system, inclusive of but not limited to:
Review of weekly payment batches

First releaser on weekly payment batch

Provide regular feedback to the Financial Controller of any pending/significant items .
Qualifications and Experience

Significant experience and proven track record delivering outstanding and insightful financial reporting in a regulated environment – consumer finance preferred
Completed undergraduate degree in finance and SAICA/SAIPA articles
Proven track record managing a range of 3rd party relationships particularly with banking providers
Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Experience of operating and managing relationships at a senior level in a Corporate environment
Proven ability to multitask, deliver exceptional results and motivate others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience with working in a group structure, as well as a good understanding around foreign currency translation.
