We are now in search for a Financial Accountant for a luxury tour operator based in Sandton.KEY OUTPUTS:? Full responsibility for Tourplan transaction flows, accounting, reporting and internal controls? Debtors reconciliation, allocation, collection, reporting and escalation, as well as the full function month end process? Daily finance queries? Debtors Team Daily finance Queries? Act as Finance liaison to the Sales, DMC, Commercial Teams, as well as the rest of the Finance team regarding any queries that may arise ? Assist with Tourplan queries Manage Debtors Book? Review SA and East Africa Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly? Escalate and resolve queries? Prepare debtors review meeting schedules and lead debtors review meetings? Conduct monthly Debtors review with Sales and DMC Managers & Directors. Send out detailed minutes following the reviews with specific action points? Be knowledgeable on the &Beyond Trading terms and manage the collections in line with this? Monthly cash flow forecasting in line with Debtors book? Limit Bad debt Provision to within 1% of the Month end Debtors Value –? Review Unallocated Cash weekly and send to DMC team for comment Month end function? Tourplan & Accpaco Month end checks as per checklist need to be completed on the 2nd working day of the new month (or as required)o All bank reconciliations to be checked and signed off, reconciling & suspense entries to be investigatedo Tourplan closing to be done no later than the 3rd working day of each new month (or as required)2o Tourplan Import, Macro & Tourplan Accpac recon to be completed on the same day that Tourplan is closedo Flash 6 to be completed and sent to Gill on the 4th Working day of each new month (or as required)o Flash 6 to be analysed and posted on the 10th working day of each montho Flash Analysis (1-5) to be completed/ posted on the 5th working day of each new month (or as required). Analysis to be done to verify integrity of informationo Debtors Age Analysis to be revalued and checked the booking periods for accuracyo Bad debt provision to be done with full comments and action plan to resolve issueso Miami import to be done on the 4th working day of each month (or as required)o T&E analysis, Ledgers and Manaccs to be sent out as per month end time tableo GL accounts to be reconciledo Reviewing of all Touring Management accounts (20) and variances to be queriedo Management account reviews to be held with respective Touring Directors updating forecast to end of the year as requiredo Bateleur Travel Revenue & COS to be recordedo Finalising Accurate Management accountso Accurate Monthly & Quarterly Forecastingo Any other functions deemed necessary to completed month end accurately and on time? Additional Functionso VAT Submissions by the due date for ABSAT & ABBTo Monitoring of e-filing for any assessments issued by SARSo Resolving all VAT Querieso Manage the Debtors & Accounting Team personnel in terms of leave, working hours, identifying training needso Bateleur Travel: Support, review and analyseo Bateleur Club: Support, review and analyseo Commission and Incentives: Implementation, calculation and supporto Cash book: Weekly review of Bank reconciliationso Balance Sheet: Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations (3 Companies)o Budgets: Prepare, Implement and maintaino Audit: participate intermediate/ yearend audits, and internal reviews KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (QUALIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS):Bachelors Degree in FinanceTourplan experience an advantage SKILLS REQUIRED:?
