Financial Accountant/ Manager

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
Relevant B Comm Degree / Cost Control or Cost Management Qualification
Qualified Chartered Accountant will be beneficial
Work experience:
Must have 5 years’ experience in financial systems
JDE experience is required
Experience in construction related activities is preferred
Needs to have a detailed understanding of accounting principles
Ability to analyse problems and isolate these
Ability to work and communicate with staff at all levels
Must be able to plan ahead and visualise improvement
Must be a logical and open-minded person
Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management pack for the Director’s management meeting
Raising of monthly journals to agree to cost reports
Prepare and control budgets and subsequent revisions
Administrative tasks as required
Review of overheads to ensure that numbers are fairly accurate
