This International Mining Company is looking for a competent individual to take up the Financial Accountant – Procurement position. Excellent experience to be gained! Duties and Responsibilities: Oversight of key accounting and reporting systems infrastructure of the company South Africa (Procurement division), including internal and external reporting, and management accounting. Manage the Financial, Accounting and Compliance functions of the Company including payrolls, Cash Flow Management; Financial Reporting (internal and external) within agreed reporting deadlines. Manage the interaction with the stores department to ensure that financial processes cover all Pomona activities and that financial information is accurate, reasonable and complete. Manage the monthly trial balance closing, including review of balance sheet reconciliations, review of reported information and month end journal processing. Ensure effective Chart of Accounts is maintained for company in line with the Company’s Requirements, as well as correct allocation of cost to appropriate cost centers. Ensure compliance of company with local statutory Accounts in conjunction with external advisors and Local Audit requirements.
